Gameland doesn't have the biggest game library, but it doesn't always have to be huge to provide just what we players need. I find it of good quality because it includes games from well-known providers known for creating quality titles.

One thing I do like is the filtering. You can narrow slots down by provider or volatility, which makes it much easier to find games from a studio you like or choose something that suits how you want to play.

Gameland's live casino is powered by Pragmatic Play, with a much bigger selection than I expected from the site's fairly simple navigation.

Not every game type is obvious from Gameland's main live-casino menu. For example, I couldn't see a baccarat category there, but once I entered Pragmatic Play's own lobby I found baccarat, poker and other Asian games alongside the blackjack, roulette and game-show sections.

I had some rounds of baccarat, which is my go-to live casino game when I miss the real casino atmosphere at Time Square in Menlyn! It obviously doesn't fully replace the buzz of sitting at a real table, but the live dealers, elegant studio setup and real-time action get me surprisingly close to that same vibe.

During my latest test, I played Baccarat 3 with a R4 minimum bet. From the Pragmatic lobby, I could also see table limits and current player numbers before joining, which makes it easier to pick a table that suits your budget.

So the main drawback isn't actually a lack of live games here, it's that Gameland's own navigation doesn't make the full selection obvious. Once you're in the provider lobby, there's way more to explore than there seems.

One thing that disappointed me a bit about Gameland was the mobile version of the casino. It felt quite outdated compared to what I'm used to on other platforms.

The layout doesn't feel fully optimised for smaller screens, and the design comes across as a bit clunky. Navigating through games wasn't as intuitive either, and it sometimes felt like I had to tap and scroll more than necessary just to find what I wanted.

I wasn't asked to upload an ID, proof of address or other FICA documents when registering, depositing, playing or making my first withdrawal. My R120 withdrawal was completed without a manual document check.
