Summary

BetJets is fast, clean and much bigger than it first appears. There are about 1,300 games, deposits start from just R5, and the self-service responsible gambling tools are some of the best I've tested. The snag is that loads of games are buried behind search and provider filters. The sticky welcome bonus and muddled support information also make some of the important bits harder to trust.

BetJets Casino - Plenty Going for It, but the Bonus and Navigation Let It Down

BetJets made a good first impression on me. It goes its own way with a bright white, blue and red design instead of the dark casino look you tend to see these days. The site ran smoothly on desktop and mobile, and the account area and cashier are clean and easy to use.

The casino side feels a bit more like an addition to a broader betting site than the main attraction, though, and the lobby is where things first start to unravel. Search works well, but it needs to, because BetJets hides a surprising amount of its library beneath the surface. Plenty of games only appeared when I hunted for them by name or opened the relevant provider lobby, and there's no dedicated live casino section at all.

The welcome bonus and support were where BetJets really lost points with me, though. The bonus looks decent at first, but its sticky setup can put your original deposit at risk once wagering begins. The published terms also disagree with each other, and BetJets' AI-powered email support confidently gave me information that wasn't correct. Human live chat was much more useful, but I really don't think you should have to interrogate support to uncover a term that could cost you your own deposit.

✅ Try BetJets if:

  • You tend to search for games by name or provider anyway.
  • You want a speedy mobile casino and sports betting combo without downloading an app.
  • You're looking for familiar ZAR payment methods.
  • You like quick mobile formats like Tap-A-Roo.

❌ Skip BetJets if:

  • You want a simple and forgiving first-deposit bonus.
  • You rely on clear lobby categories to discover new games.
  • You prefer to use email support for guidance.
  • You're planning to claim the bonus with a large deposit.

BetJets Welcome Bonus and Promo Code

BetJets gives new casino customers a 100% match on their first deposit, up to R5,000. The promo code is CASIN*****. Reveal the full code at the top of this page, then deposit at least R10 to claim the offer.

The low entry point and 35x bonus-only wagering look reasonable at first, but pasop! This sticky bonus has a nasty sting in its tail. I've broken down exactly how it works below.

BetJets 100% First-Deposit Casino Bonus

The bonus is credited as soon as your qualifying first deposit is confirmed. Before you start playing, though, it's worth reading the full bonus terms below, because this offer works a little differently from a standard deposit match.

Significant Terms: New casino customers only, 18+. Use code CASIN***** on your first casino deposit of at least R10 to receive a 100% match up to R5,000. The bonus has 35x wagering on the bonus amount, which must be completed within 30 days. Slots contribute 100%; other games contribute less. Bonus-derived winnings are capped at 10x the bonus amount. No fixed maximum bonus bet applies, but individual game limits and anti-abuse rules apply. Cancelling before placing any bets returns the original deposit to the cash balance, but cancelling after wagering starts, or failing to complete wagering within 30 days, forfeits both the bonus and the original deposit. Full terms and bonus terms apply. ResponsibleGambling.org.za.

How to Claim the BetJets First-Deposit Casino Bonus

  1. Register a new BetJets account.
  2. Open the cashier and choose your payment method.
  3. Enter a deposit amount of at least R10.
  4. Select the promo code option.
  5. Unlock the full BetJets promo code by clicking View code in the info box at the top of this page.
  6. Enter the full code in the promo-code field.
  7. Make sure the casino bonus is selected before confirming your deposit.
  8. Complete the required wagering within 30 days.

Current BetJets Promo Code

The current BetJets promo code is CASIN*****. Click View code in the info box at the top of the page to see the complete code, then enter it in the "I have a promotional code" box when making your first deposit.

It's worth checking that the code and casino offer are selected before you pay, because this isn't one of those bonuses that can be added afterwards if you forget.

BetJets Bonus Terms You Should Know

This is where things get a bit swak. BetJets puts both your deposit and the bonus into the Casino Bonus Wallet, with the bonus funds used first. That makes this a sticky bonus.

Think of the Bonus Wallet as a locked piggy bank containing both your money and BetJets' money. While the offer is active, you can't simply reach in and take your original deposit back out again.

You need to wager the bonus amount 35 times within 30 days. For example, a R100 deposit gives you another R100 in bonus funds, so you'll need to complete R3,500 in qualifying wagering.

You can cancel the bonus before placing any bets and get your original deposit returned to your cash balance. Once you start wagering, though, you're committed. BetJets confirmed to me through human live chat that cancelling from that point forfeits both the bonus and your original deposit. The same applies if you don't finish the wagering within 30 days.

I had to ask support directly about this because the published terms don't make the fate of your deposit clear. For a condition that could cost you your own money, that really shouldn't require detective work.

Game contributions also vary quite dramatically:

Support told me that all standard slots qualify at 100%, and I couldn't find any specific excluded slots.

There's also no fixed maximum bonus bet, although normal game limits and BetJets' anti-abuse rules still apply.

Bonus-derived winnings are capped at 10x the bonus amount. So if you receive a R100 bonus, the most you can cash out from bonus winnings is R1,000. Your original deposit sits outside that cap, but it still can't be freely withdrawn while the bonus is active.

One final warning: BetJets' dedicated promotion page, general bonus terms and support replies gave me different game-contribution figures. I've used the newer, promotion-specific terms above, but this information really shouldn't be so difficult to pin down.

Expert's Take: Is the BetJets Welcome Bonus Worth Claiming?

Cat Robinson, Bojoko casino expert

The headline numbers aren't terrible, but I'd be very cautious about taking this bonus with a large deposit. Once you start wagering, walking away could cost you your own money as well as the bonus.

👎 Where it misses the mark

👉 Overall take

I'd only claim this one if I was confident I wanted to complete the full wagering requirement. The R10 minimum makes it easy to keep your exposure small, but I'd think very carefully before attaching a large deposit to such an unforgiving setup.

The bonus itself isn't terrible. The sticky deposit is the deal-breaker for me.

Compare the BetJets Welcome Offer With Other South African Bonuses

BetJets starts strongly with a R10 minimum deposit, but WanejoBets takes a much simpler approach, with far lower wagering and fewer strings attached. Compare them below, or use the magnifying-glass icon in the top-right corner of the table to swap in other South African casinos and see how they stack up.

Other BetJets Promotions

BetJets offers a good range of daily rewards, cashback, crash-game offers and rotating provider campaigns. These will come and go, of course, but there was plenty happening while I tested the site.

The Daily Spin was a fun little extra, but its terms were already out of date and didn't fully match what I experienced. It's worth checking the latest conditions before taking part in any rotating promotion, given what I found with the Daily Spin above.

If casino isn't your only thing, there's plenty going on for sports betting and horse racing players too.

BetJets Game Providers - Big Names Across Slots and Live Casino

BetJets has a solid provider lineup, with familiar names covering both slots and live casino. Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Habanero and Big Time Gaming make up a good chunk of the slot range, while Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Ezugi and BetGames handle most of the live side.

The provider filters are actually one of the best ways to explore the casino. I found them much more useful than the normal category menu, especially for Pragmatic Play. Open its lobby and you'll find separate sections for blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows that aren't nearly as obvious elsewhere on the site.

BetJets has plenty of live games once you find them, but there's no dedicated live casino lobby to browse. If you'd rather compare South African sites that put their live tables front and centre, see our guide to the best live casinos in South Africa.

You'll also find six Tap-A-Roo games, under the Tap Games category, for something a little different. These are quick tap-to-reveal games great for shorter mobile sessions.

NetEnt Evolution Gaming Big Time Gaming Pragmatic Play Ezugi Red Tiger Nolimit City
Evolution Gaming Ezugi BetGames

BetJets has a much bigger casino than its main lobby lets on. I found roughly 1,270 games in total, but uncovering the full range took a fair bit of detective work, mostly because the categories only show part of what's actually there.

Search is good, which is lucky because the category menus really aren't. I found at least nine poker games, five Andar Bahar titles and a dozen First Person RNG games that don't have proper sections of their own. Crash games are scattered around too, with some in Discover, others under Pragmatic Play, and Skyward and Skyward Deluxe tucked away under BetGames. Aviator is easier to reach, at least, with its own shortcut in the main navigation at the top of the site.

The slot range itself has plenty of personality. Spicy Meatballs and Sheep Gone Wild get my vote purely for making me smile, while Lightning Box Keno was the only clear jackpot-style title I found.

Game Information

Game Type Number of Games Bojoko's Recommendations
All Games 1,270 Poison Eve, Money Time, First Person Blackjack
Slots 830 Spicy Meatballs, Sheep Gone Wild, Glam Rock
Live Casino 410 Fortune Roulette, Bet Behind Pro Blackjack, Prosperity Tree Baccarat
Table Games 20 Bac Bo, Dragon Tiger, Three Card Poker
Crash Games 7 Aviator, High Flyer, Big Bass Crash
Tap Games 6 Starburst, Cash Volt, Mystery Fruit
Jackpot Games 1 Lightning Box Keno

The number of games is an approximation at the time of writing. BetJets doesn't surface every title through its main lobby, and the figures may change as games are added or removed.

Once I got past the browsing issues, the live casino turned out to be one of BetJets' strongest areas. I counted roughly 410 live games, which actually puts it on the larger end of what we typically see at ZA casinos.

Blackjack is the clear heavyweight. Pragmatic Play alone had around 90 tables, so there's plenty of choice if that's your game. Baccarat and game shows also put in a good showing, while roulette and poker are a little thinner.

  • Main providers: Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Ezugi and BetGames
  • Strongest area: Blackjack, with around 90 Pragmatic Play tables alone
  • Baccarat: Around 26 Pragmatic Play tables
  • Game shows: Around 17 from Pragmatic Play
  • Roulette: Around seven Pragmatic Play tables
  • Poker: A much smaller selection, with two Pragmatic Play tables
  • Also available: Asian-style games including Dragon Tiger and Sic Bo

Select the Pragmatic Live provider button in the casino menu to open the separate roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game show lobbies.

BetJets worked well for me on mobile. Pages loaded quickly, games opened smoothly, and the layout stayed clean and easy to read on a smaller screen. I could get to the casino, cashier, bonuses and account settings without any faff.

There's no casino app, but I didn't feel like I needed one. The browser version does the job nicely, and quick formats like Tap-A-Roo fit right in.

If mobile performance is high on your list, you can also compare BetJets with our picks for the best mobile casinos in South Africa.

The BetJets cashier is one of the tidier parts of the site. Deposits are split across familiar South African options, including cards, EFT, vouchers, Bank2Bank and Capitec Pay, so it's easy to find a method that suits you.

The lowest live cashier minimum I found was R5 through 1Voucher and EasyPay, which is excellent if you want to start small. Most other methods begin at R10, and BetJets doesn't charge deposit fees.

Deposits must come from a bank account, card or payment method registered in your own name. That's a standard security and verification measure, and it helps prevent problems when you want to withdraw.

The written terms show a R1 minimum for 1Voucher, but the cashier showed R5 during my test. I've used the live cashier figure, since that's what you'll actually see when you deposit.

Payment Method Min Deposit Min Withdrawal Possible Fees
1Voucher R5 -
EasyPay R5 -
Visa / Mastercard R10 -
EFT / Bank R10 R50 -
OTT R10 -
BluVoucher R10 -
Bank2Bank R10 -
Capitec Pay R10 -
Standard Bank Instant Money R100 -
FNB eWallet R100 -

BetJets keeps withdrawals fairly simple, with EFT, Standard Bank Instant Money and FNB eWallet available. EFT starts at R50, while the two instant-cash options start at R100.

  • Minimum withdrawal: R50
  • Withdrawal time: Up to 48 hours
  • Fees: None
  • FICA: Required
  • Weekend EFT processing: Next business day

Your bank account may need to be verified first, which can take 24–48 hours. Weekday EFT requests made before the cutoff may be processed that afternoon, while weekends and public holidays roll over to the next business day. Instant Money and FNB eWallet can be quicker once the request has been approved.

You'll also need to make at least one successful deposit before withdrawing any bonus-related winnings, and withdrawals must go to an account in your own name.

BetJets offers live chat, email and telephone support. Live chat starts with a bot, but you can ask to speak to a human and see your position in the queue. My test went well: I requested an agent at 10:14, connected at 10:16, and had my first proper answer by 10:20.

More importantly, the human agent was useful. They eventually cleared up the nastiest part of the welcome bonus for me, confirming what happens to your deposit if you cancel after wagering starts or miss the 30-day deadline.

BetJets live chat confirming that cancelling or missing bonus wagering can forfeit both the bonus and original deposit

Email support was another story entirely. I received two near-identical automated replies about bonus game contributions, both giving figures that contradicted the current promotion page. When I challenged the answer, the system doubled down, claimed its figures matched the published terms and even referred me to a "section 32" that doesn't exist. That's a proper AI hallucination, and not a harmless one when the question involves wagering terms.

I sent a screenshot of the conflicting information and specifically asked for the issue to be escalated to a human. At the time of writing, three working days have passed with no reply, despite BetJets stating that email responses take up to 24 hours.

Email to BetJets support questioning why the casino bonus contribution rates in its reply do not match the published promotion terms

My initial question to BetJets about the mismatched contribution figures.

BetJets support email repeating conflicting bonus contribution rates and referring to a section 32 that does not appear in the published terms

BetJets' AI support reply, including a reference to a "section 32" that doesn't exist.

Follow-up email asking BetJets to escalate the conflicting casino bonus terms to a human support agent for review

My follow-up, requesting a human review. At the time of writing, no reply had arrived.

Registration itself was quick. My phone OTP arrived straight away, and you can choose any username you like, as your full details are captured separately.

If you already have a TAB horse-racing betting account, BetJets gives you a dedicated registration option so you can link in through that instead of starting from scratch.

For FICA, I entered my ID number and uploaded my ID and proof of address through the verification section right away. The upload process was easy enough, but there's no visible status tracker afterwards. That's a little disappointing when the rest of the account area generally gives you plenty of control.

I still hadn't received an email or SMS confirming approval by the time I finished testing, so it looks like BetJets may only complete the final verification checks when you actually request a withdrawal, rather than letting you get everything signed off in advance.

That's not ideal if you prefer to get FICA out of the way before you ever need to cash out.

BetJets mobile registration screen

BetJets launched in July 2024 and is operated by BetJets (Pty) Ltd, a South African company registered under number 2023/128755/07. It's licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board and only accepts players aged 18 or over.

  • Operator: BetJets (Pty) Ltd
  • Launch: July 2024
  • Regulator: Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board
  • Licence: 10091157-108
  • Currency: ZAR
  • Minimum age: 18
  • FICA: Required before withdrawal

If a dispute can't be resolved directly with BetJets, its terms explain how you can escalate the matter to the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

This was one of my favourite parts of the BetJets account area. Almost everything can be set up yourself, without having to explain your situation to a support agent first.

BetJets self service rg tools

You can set deposit, stake and session limits, switch on casino reality checks, or take a timeout for up to six months. I don't often see separate stake limits at South African casinos, so that was a particularly good addition.

  • Deposit limits: Self-service
  • Stake limits: Available for casino and betting
  • Session limits: Self-service and tested
  • Reality checks: Available
  • Timeouts: Up to six months
  • Marketing during a timeout: Suspended
  • Permanent exclusion: Contact support

I tested the session limit myself, and it worked exactly as it should by logging me out when the time was up. I also liked that taking a timeout doesn't just stop you playing, BetJets also pauses promotional messages and offers during the break.

The only thing keeping this from a perfect result for me is permanent exclusion. You can lock yourself out for up to six months without assistance, but you'll need to contact support if you want the exclusion to be permanent. Still, on this front, BetJets was very nearly flawless.

🛟 If you’re worried about your gambling, you don’t have to handle it alone. The South African Responsible Gambling Foundation and Gamblers Anonymous South Africa both offer support.

BetJets Casino FAQ

Here are quick answers to common questions about BetJets' licence, promo code, welcome bonus, app, withdrawals and account settings:

Yes, BetJets is a legitimate South African gambling company. BetJets (Pty) Ltd is licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board under licence number 10091157-108.

The current BetJets promo code is CASIN*****. Our Bojoko BetJets casino review always has the latest code available, with the full version revealed at the top of the page.

No, the current BetJets promo code doesn't give 50 free spins. It gives new casino customers a 100% match on their first deposit up to R5,000, with a minimum deposit of R10.

BetJets doesn't currently have a permanent public promo code for existing users that I could confirm. Existing players can still find rotating offers, cashback, tournaments and targeted deposit promotions on the promotions page.

The BetJets welcome bonus is a 100% match on your first casino deposit up to R5,000. The minimum deposit is R10, wagering is 35x the bonus amount, and you have 30 days to complete it.

No, BetJets doesn't have a casino app, but the mobile browser casino worked quickly and smoothly for me, so you can play on your phone without downloading an app.

If you forgot your BetJets password, use the Forgot Password option on the login screen to start the reset process. You can also contact BetJets live chat if you have trouble getting back into your account.

You can withdraw money from BetJets using EFT, Standard Bank Instant Money or FNB eWallet. Your FICA verification must be complete, and withdrawals must go to an account held in your own name.

A BetJets withdrawal can take up to 48 hours, including any required bank verification. Weekend and public-holiday EFT requests may wait until the next business day, while Instant Money and FNB eWallet can be faster once approved.

To delete or permanently close your BetJets account, you'll need to contact support. Temporary timeouts of up to six months can be set directly from your account though.
